DocketSnap ("we," "our," or "the app") is a mobile application designed to help users create professional photo reports with titles, client names, addresses, notes, and optional watermarks (timestamp and/or address). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how DocketSnap handles your information.

2. Information We Process

DocketSnap processes the following types of information locally on your device:

• Report Data: Report titles, client names, addresses, and notes that you manually enter within the app.
• Photos: Photos you take or select for inclusion in your reports. All photos are stored in the app's private directory on your device and are not accessible by other apps or users.
• Watermark Data: If you enable the watermark feature, the current timestamp and/or address may be embedded onto your photos. The address is obtained only when you manually choose to add an address watermark.
• PDF Exports: When you export a report as a PDF, the file is saved to your local device storage.
• User Preferences: App settings and preferences are stored locally on your device using Android DataStore.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

DocketSnap does not collect, transmit, or share the following:

• No personal information is sent to any external server.
• No photos, reports, or PDF files are uploaded to the cloud.
• No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs are integrated into the app.
• No usage data, device identifiers, or behavioral data are collected.
• No location data is collected automatically. Location is only used if you manually choose to add an address watermark to a photo.

4. How We Use Your Information

All data remains on your device and is used solely for the purpose of creating, viewing, editing, and exporting photo reports within the app. We do not use your data for any other purpose.

5. Data Storage and Security

DocketSnap stores all your data locally on your device:

• Report data is stored in a local Room database (SQLite) on your device.
• Photos are stored in the app's private internal storage directory.
• Preferences are stored using Android DataStore.
• None of this data is transmitted over the internet under normal circumstances.

You can delete any report or photo at any time from within the app. Uninstalling the app will permanently remove all locally stored data.

6. Third-Party Services

DocketSnap uses the following third-party service:

• Google Play Billing: DocketSnap offers an in-app purchase to unlock premium features. Google Play Billing is used to process this one-time purchase. Transaction data is handled by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store any payment-related personal information.

7. Children's Privacy

DocketSnap does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the app does not transmit any personal data to external servers, there is no risk of children's data being shared. However, the app is intended for general professional use and is not specifically designed for children.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any changes.
